Yr 12 DP Visual Arts Exhibition

As part of their assessment Year 12 visual arts students are required to curate their own exhibition. This authentic experience was carried out very successfully at LIS. The studentschose the artworks that they intended to display and wrote a rational explaining why they were relevant, the process they had gone through to achieve the realised artworks and the artists who influenced the development of their work.  The students also provided an exhibition test that described the artwork, the media used and the size.

Congratulations Renata, Maria, Gaby, Alberto, Tiago, Amanda, Lindy and Catherine

    Hello year 12,

I have toured the exhibition several times now as I make my way through building 6. While I was of course impressed by the artwork, what really got me excited was reading the rationales behind the pieces. Thank you so much for taking a risk and sharing your creative process openly. It makes your work that much more enjoyable.

    Keep it up!
    Ms. Katy
